Get to know me:
I believe every person has a story worth understanding.
My path to becoming a therapist was not a straight one. I originally pursued education because I have always been passionate about helping others learn, grow, and reach their potential. Over time, I discovered that my passion extended beyond teaching and into helping people better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Through my work in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families during some of their most difficult moments. These experiences have shown me the strength and resilience people carry, even when they may not recognize it themselves.
I believe healing begins when we stop pretending we're okay and start giving ourselves permission to honestly explore what we're carrying. Authenticity can be uncomfortable, but it is often where growth begins. When we allow ourselves to acknowledge our experiences, challenge old patterns, and show up as our true selves, meaningful change becomes possible.
I believe growth is a lifelong process, not something we achieve once and are finished with. I continue to learn, reflect, and grow in my own life, and I bring that same openness and curiosity into my work with clients.
My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can show up as you are. You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning. Together, we can explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and create a path forward that feels authentic to you.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I'm not wearing my therapist hat, I'm usually spending time with the people (and animals) I love most. My husband, our son, our dogs, and my cat keep life busy, entertaining, and full of love.
I'm a proud nerd at heart. Whether I'm playing video games, catching Pokémon, or getting excited about a new game release, I fully embrace my geeky side. I believe we're never too old for the hobbies that make us happy, and I think having interests that bring us joy is an important part of living a balanced life.
I also love expressing myself through creativity—especially when it comes to my hair. If you see me with a new color or a different style, don't be surprised! I enjoy changing things up and using my appearance as another way to express my personality. I believe self-expression is a fun reminder that we are always allowed to grow, explore, and try something new.
Fun fact: I’m a proud Pokémon fan and collector. If you ask me about my Eevee collection, my cat, or my favorite Pokémon, just know you might get more information than you bargained for.
